Jesse's Soul Cafe

Today was me and my friends first time at this restaurant. I ordered fried okra’s,fish,cabbage,macaroni and come chicken wings. My friends had fried pork chops mashed potatoes and corn. All the food was great. Portions were more than enough we all needed a to go box.Pam and her son was so nice to us we came right befor they were closing really wanting to try the food . They still welcomed us and all of are food was fresh and hot. 10/10 I’ll be visiting them again

Friend wanted soul food and I’m glad she did! This meal was carefully crafted, full of love! Savored each bite. The sweet potatoes were the perfect texture, the greens just right, and awesome okra. Whole meal was a hit. Thank you

The owner's showed great hospitality as soon as we entered. Our fish was cooked to order and the portion sizes was plentiful! There is a bit of a wait time since our fish was cooked to order and it was worth the wait! Our food was still hot when we got home! I definitely recommend Jesse's Soul Cafe!

Ready for some down home southern cooking head to Jesse's. They know what they doing. Specialties are the catfish, jack fish, fried & smothered chicken. In my opinion, the sides are what make their meals stand out. Plus, their banana pudding & cobbler are the best.

This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in all of the Midwest. They are always so friendly and ready to get you to eating. The largest potions I've ever seen. You will always, always get your money's worth at this establishment

Local family owned & operated. Food was magnificent. It clearly shows they take a lot pride in their food. Good down home meals just like your Grandma used to cook. Southern comfort food. Nice manageable menu. There's parking on the side of the building also. We ordered the Jack fish & catfish meal with cabbage, potato salad & sweet potatoes for sides.

I had the honor and privilege of eating here with my collegues. The food was excellent and the service was with a king's touch. We were treated like royalty. It is a black own business and family ran. The cooks have a wealth of experience that they bring to the table. I traveled two hours away to try this resturant and I will do it again. The portion size was large and we all needed to go boxes. If you are in the area please try Jesse's Soul Cafe. You want be disappointed and please support this black own business.
